Sentinels of the Future: Together to Eradicate Human Trafficking
FUTURE-ART is a European cooperation project co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme, dedicated to preventing human trafficking by empowering young people through education, artistic expression, digital innovation, and civic engagement.
By combining research, awareness-raising initiatives, training activities and creative advocacy tools, the project strengthens youth participation in addressing one of today’s most urgent human rights challenges.

Human trafficking remains one of the most severe violations of human rights worldwide, affecting millions of vulnerable individuals and disproportionately impacting young people.
FUTURE-ART addresses this challenge through innovative educational methodologies, creative awareness campaigns, and digital learning tools designed to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to identify risks, promote prevention, and contribute to safer and more resilient communities.
Through an interdisciplinary approach combining research, education, art, technology, and policy advocacy, the project aims to create sustainable and long-term impact across Europe.
FUTURE-ART brings together a multidisciplinary consortium of universities, research institutions, non-governmental organisations, and innovation experts from across Europe working collaboratively to prevent human trafficking through education, youth empowerment, and social innovation.
